ABOUT US
The “YES on the Healthy Kids Plan Campaign” is a bi-partisan coalition of your neighbors as well as civic and community groups who support Measure 50 on the November 6, 2007 statewide ballot.
Doctors, nurses, health care advocates, tobacco prevention experts, parents, and taxpayers are uniting to pass this groundbreaking plan and make Oregon a national leader in children’s health.
Measure 50 will make it possible for Oregon to provide quality health care for 100,000 uninsured children and pay for proven tobacco prevention programs to help keep the next generation smoke-free.
A “Yes!” vote on Measure 50 means the children of working parents will get the health care they deserve, taxpayers will save millions from fewer emergency room visits and smoking-related medical costs, and proven tobacco-prevention programs will have the resources they need to counter Big Tobacco’s strategy of targeting our children as their next generation of customers.
Join with the “YES on Healthy Kids Plan Campaign” — because the wealthiest nation on Earth should be the healthiest, too.
